Your Own Backyard!
2 comments Published by Michelle DeNichilo on Saturday, 22 September 2007 at 6:43 pmI recently had the honour of photographing some great friends of mine! They possessed all the key attributes I love to capture in a family. That is they were heaps of fun, not to mention good-looking and the kids were exceedingly adorable. This family really were the complete package and so much fun to work with!
We started this shoot at the families home where I discovered this amazing rustic and weathered old brick shed, sometimes the best locations are actually in your own back yard!
This is just a sneak peek into their shoot. I have dozens more to share!
This is one of my absolute favourites, I just melt when I see babies laughing like this! Not to mention another great backyard discovery with this old barrel and iron!
After getting some great shots at the family home we ventured out!
These next three images, I think are a great set and should be kept together. I would love to see these ones put into a storyboard.
Here's an example of what I mean by storyboard.
There are just so many beautiful places along the coast of Australia! We often take short break and head to the York Peninsula to soak up the scenery, sea air and catch a few fish to take home. More recently we decided to head to Point Turton where I managed to capture some of the amazing scenery.

This was the view from the cabin balcony...absolutely stunning view!

Berry Bay Dolphins
What an amazing experience it is to watch dolphins playfully swimming together in the ocean. As we arrived at Berry Bay we managed to catch a view of a large group of more than 20 dolphins riding the waves together. I missed the opportunity the first time round but managed to capture them on camera at the end of the day when they came back.

There is something so special about a moment shared like this between a mum and baby. Congratulations on your first mothers day Tracy!
or a fun moment like this!
And who can go past this one, two of my favorite people in the world. My sister Donna and her daughter Bella. Donna is such a natural at being a mum, she manages so many things but still finds time to have fun with the kids. Like having picnics on the lounge room rug whilst watching Hi-5, playing silly dress ups and lots more!
Whilst family portraiture is my main focus in photography, I am also extending my photography to landscapes. These original landscape prints can be purchased as gifts or for your home. Prices start at $50.00, please enquire for details. More to come...

Launching Lollipop Creative Photography
1 comments Published by Michelle DeNichilo on Thursday, 22 March 2007 at 10:08 amAfter filling up many boxes with photographs, taking photos for friends of engagement parties, birthdays, baby christenings, pregnancy, working as an photography assistant for Studio Mode and study, I am now fulfilling my dream of opening up my own photography business specialising in family and children’s photography.
Opening Lollipop Creative Photography has been something I have been talking about and working towards for a number of years. It's funny, my two and half year old niece, Molly almost convinced me to name this business Mollypop, as she is convinced this is the correct pronounciation of all things sweet!
A special thanks to my family and friends who have encouraged me to pursue this dream. Especially my husband Joe and my sister Donna who have both contributed their time, advice, wisdom and generosity.
